Inventor 2014 to 2015 compatibility

I had a Virus on my pc. So to fix it I had to refresh it, so I took off inventor but I didn't have everything I needed. I just said forget about it and said I would re-download it. But they didn't have it for download for students (which I am). So should I download 2015 can my files convert over?

Hi!

 

Yes, inventor 2015 will open your files made in previous versions.

When you save the file in Inventor 2015 the files will be migrated to the new version.

From here, you can not open again in previous versions.
