inventor 2014 problem...

I'm sure there is a simple fix to this, but I just downloaded Inventor 2014 trial version and tried to upload a dwg from CAD 2014. It comes up but only a wireframe with a black background. All of my materials are gone and I can't seem to find a way to get all my information back...any ideas?

Attach both files here.

What Options did you set on open?

I just opened inventor and went to "open" "Import" and imported the dwg. All the options are set to the defaults since I just downloaded the program. I'll attach the CAD file for you and the .iam file from inventor if you need it. Like I said, I'm all new to the Inventor program and starting from scratch...so thank you for your help.

The IAM file without the related IPT files is useless. The IAM file is a database that only contains which files are to be used, their position/relationship and constraints.

Just insert the picture rather than attaching it as a file
