Inventor 2014- Frame generator- Failed to Connect to Solver

Hi All,

I am currently trying to learn how to use the frame generator. Unfortunately after setting up a simulation and click "simulate" I get the following error " Solver: Failed to Connect to Solver"

Has anyone encountered this issue before? I already read the topic: solver solution

I did a quick forum search and found some references to an unregistered Kernel 23 but i didn't find that folder or similar in my registry.

Any and all help is appreciated

I don't understand.

Frame Generator and Frame Analysis are two different things.

You must create a frame before running simulation.

Does it work when going through the Tutorial example?

What version of Windows do you have.

Did you install Inventor with anti-virus and UAC disabled?

Have you installed Service Pack1 and Update 3?
