Inventor 2014 fails to export to DWG on Win 8.1

I installed inventor 2014 on my laptop with windows 8.1, and export to DWG does not work. When i go to export, the options button doesnt work. when i click save, it pops up a windows and says "Problems encountered while saving the document." On my desktop with 2014 it works perfectly. I have the newest sp1. Does anybody know how to fix this and make this actually work.

Worked for me using Inventor 2013 on Windows 10. Can now insert .dxf files.

Autocad does not open after this command, it keeps giving an error. What should I do.

Hi! Do you mean AutoCAD fails to start after Inventor exports something to dwg? Could you elaborate the workflow? This thread is about Inventor's failure of export certain files to dwg. You may want to start a new thread and describe the exact issue.

This issue was solved in this thread long ago. I'm using neither windows 8.1, nor Inventor 2014 any more.
