Inventor 2013: when I open a particular assembly, if i try to edit it in any way (ie. add a part/delete a part/move a part etc.) the whole program crashes. The assembly is over 3MB in size. Please help!
Wow... I think we're going to need a lot more information on this one. Can you post your system specs? Are you using a Vault system of some kind? Are you receiving any specific error messages when you crash? And, are you operating on the latest service pack updates to IV 2013? Look here for the latest: http://usa.autodesk.com/support/

I had the same problems soon after installing 2013.
Make sure you have this Vault 2013 hotfix installed:

I know it seems like an Inventor issue, but it's tied to Vault even if you're not using Vault but simply just have it installed, the hotfix corrects the crashes.
P.S. Nice "enhance" tag line there CBenner...LOL
Hi mitchell3010,
If it is not problem for you, zip your assembly and attach into this message. 3MB big assembly is quite small and then ideal for debugging. Providing dataset will help me to find source of your issue much easier. If I will be able to reproduce the crash on your dataset I can provide reliable response.
Thank you,
Robert
