Inventor 2012 and Excel 2010

I am having trouble "edit via spreadsheet" from an iPart table within Inventor 2012.
I am using Excel 2010, but when I select "edit via spreadsheet", Inventor loacks up as if it is trying to start excel, but doesn't. If I push "esc" it comes back to operational but still no spreadsheet.

Anyone else having this problem? Anyone know why this could be?

Have tried uninstalling excel and reinstalling. My next step is to reinstall Inventor if no one can help.

Thanks

I tried to find the registry key file listed in the fix but could not find it.

Is there a more 'current' solution?

Not being able t use iParts is very frustrating.

Please help.

Michael

Is it 64 bit or 32 bit?

If 32 bit. The folder structure is different.

Instead of it being located in the " wow6432node" folder. It will be under the " software\autodesk....etc folder

I'm having the same issue with Windows 7 64 bit. I went to the site with the fix and I tried to play the video, but the video does NOT play. I tried playing the video from 3 different browsers but it still will not play.

Thanks,

Dan

Keep trying. You need to watch the video!

I am also not able to see the video. I'm running Windows 7 64-bit and tried Firefox and IE9.

Does anyone have written instructions that cover the video?

I have the same problem and the video will not work for me either.  Can someone please post detailed step by step instructions on how to fix it?

Thanks,
