I believe he is conveying that the statement was confrontational. He is correct. I am researching the same issue.

we also have this problem. both with WScommcntr1.exe and WScommcntr2.exe
I'm currently trying if the problem gets solved when running the exe-file in compatibility mode.
From what Autodesk has told me, it is related to the ntdll.dll file which is a Windows system 32 file. At times that file can get corrupted and when that happens, a fresh reinstall is the only way to fix it. That is what we have been doing lately and works. That's the only workaround for now, as there isn't any solution.
Hi
Found a work round works on our machines Go in registry and change the below
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk\AutoCAD\R18.1\ACAD-XXXX:XXX\InfoCenter
Where XXXX:XXX depends on the product and language, which is 9001:409 for
AutoCAD 2011 English.
Change the "InfoCenterOn" value to 0.
You also need to opt out of the CIP (Customer Involvement Program).
Yeah I have done that and while it does work, the issue is that they use InfoCenter in the labs and for the students they need to use it, so what we end up doing is to re-image the affected PCs.
Otherwise yes that would work so thanks.
