Inventor 2011: Default template path keep resetting to default

Hello,

I have an issue with The default templates, I set up the path of our templates located on our server but it keep resetting to default. 

I am using Inventor 2011 SP2, I use a network drive to access to the templates and I already tried with using the complete adress (In the past I have been able to solve this issue with this solution).

Here its properly set up, if I open a new part it will still be the default template but the path will still be the right one, if I restart Inventor the path is reset.

You have it as mapped network drive?

Sometimes it fails to attach the drive and we get errors as well.

We have a bat file added to start / all programs / run that adds a mapped network drive when windows starts.... or it should, cause it's not working all the time and we need to start it manually.

Do you get network drops? Can you see and access the drive in explorer when the error occurs in Inventor?

There are two places you need to check the template location. 

1, Application Options > Default Templated, 

2, template setting from Projects > Folder Options 

If both are correct, it should now error. 

On the other side, if the template folder is located to network drive, please give full access right to there.
