Inventor 2010 slow checking-in with viewable

I have a user that has an issue when checking in Inventor drawings with a viewable.

When he check in without creating a dwf viewable the checkin time is normal.

When he creates a viewable at check-in, the time to complete can be very long. (1+ hour)

The files he checks in are small (3 part) assemblies.

It appears to be some type of setting (software or pc) but I am not sure what that might be.

Any ideas?

FYI, this sounds like more of a Vault question that should be posted on the Vault forum.

What version of Vault are you using?

I found this link on line.  I know it is for an older version (2008), but take a look through it and see if there is anything you can see that applies to your situation.  I know I read something in one of the first few paragraphs that seem to speak to what you said.

Have a different user log in to the machine in question and try checking the same file into Vault with dwf.

This will tell you whether its a software issue or a Windows User Profile issue.

If all is ok with the other user on the same machine it would be a Windows User Profile issue and it will need to be deleted and recreated.

Logging in as a different user did not work.  I will update the graphics card driver to see if that helps.
