Inventor 2008 Certified Expert Examination

Does anyone know when the Inventor 2008 Certified Expert Examination will be available? So far only the Inventor 2008 Certified User Exam is.

Can us Inventor users here in good 'ol Blighty take these exams?
Is it a case of getting the relevant AOTC, swotting up and then when you think you are ready, taking an online exam?
It's something I'd like to pursue.

Although the exam is taken online I believe it has to be taken at a proctored site. Check with your VAR.

Unless something has changed in recent times, JD, I think you're correct. At last I heard, the "Expert" exams were only administered at an ATC (Authorized Training Center). Contacting a VAR or checking the Autodesk website for a VAR nearest you will help you locate an ATC. When you search for a VAR, the Autodesk website marks the VAR's that are ATC's.

Does anyone know if it is possible to sit this exam anywhere in Australia. I have contacted the ATC in Perth, but she got all defensive and thought i wanted to become a training centre. She didn't know the difference between the medallions or the difference between the Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced training they run, to the Certified user and Expert exams. Any help would be most appreciated as the support for Autodesk Inventor users in Australia is extremely lacking. I am banging my head up against a wall here.

I worked for your company around 2001 and again for a few weeks december january time, (that was enough for me second time round, too much unnecessary training, reading the whole of the intranet, then 2d autocad room layouts urrggg) I am back living in plymouth after a stint in australia but work a 3 day week in glasgow on rescue subs and rov's now.

I was looking into the exams a few years ago but figured they were not of much value because they were not availiable in the UK. having chatted to some of your collegues im seriously considering taking, at least the user course because im self taught and hope it would give me a more rounded view of the software architecture and force me to look again at some of the program feature i wont use.

good luck with the implimentation
