installing IV 6 - trouble

In continuation of a former post concerning VV Express I tried to install IV
6.
The machine has never had IV installed and I'm logged in as Administrator
but I allways get an MSI... error.
C:\Temp is clean and all temp files has been wiped from C:\Documents and
Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temp.
The keybord is set to English but during the installation IV is unable to
find the EULA file and therefore gives this error.
Solution ??? - Urgent

There's a link in the Read Only group I think to MSI v2.0. (Microsoft
Installer). You might try installing that.

Larry,
Never heard of the Read only group????. I have downloaded and installed MSI
v. 2 - same result. This goes for design tracking as well.
They really have messed up this one 🙂

I have the same problem wich XP pro SP1. I have uninstall the sp1 and i can
install IV6
Sory for my english...

I also had this problem, but when I installed the new MSI, it discovered
there was a ongoing installation of IV, and removed it.

After that I installed MDT first and then IV installed succesfully.

This may show up on some systems.
Find the Eula directory on the CD and copy it to C:\

I fixed it.
When I went to Regional settings in the Control Panel and chose English as
default it worked.

I would prefer to choose the EULA doc for myself as it used to be. Too much
automation 😞
