Inserting Structural Members

Greetings-

I'm using 2012 Professional and I would like to know if there is a way to insert a structural member into a part file instead of having to use Frame Generator to get structural shapes from the content center withough having to manuall draw the section view of the member....

Thanks

Sometimes you just need a good old reboot.

You can always start an assembly file, insert the shape as a custom and then delete the assembly file.

Open from content center and select "As Custom". This creates a new part file, rather than inserting into an existing one. You can try to copy/paste the features between part files if you need insertion.
