inserted parts in assembly don't move

I insert parts in an assembly, new parts from content center or from a library, without projected edjes, they are free to move until i impose the first constraint, the axis to axis alignment of round parts, then i cannot move them anymore in order to continue constraining them

The handle has one constraint on the axis but cannot move

Karol-Or,

I took a look at your assembly and it seems to be missing some files.

I tested the two parts in a different assembly that I expect that you want to rotate.

You might want to try doing a pack and go w/o libraries and zipping that up and I can take a look at it.

Thank you.

I opened the assembly file that i sent to you and it doesn't need more files.

I copied the files to a different folder and opened the assembly from there now, and the handle is free to move, as i expected.

Why, in the first place, was it locked, and now free to move, according to the constraints?

I've seen this behaviour a couple of times in our office - usually it's because the assembly is "sick" somewhere. Either a constraint that's conflicting, or something else un-resolved.

Exact same behaviour - insert any part ... it's free to move ... add 1 contraint and the part "locks-up".

Check for the "red-plus-I'm-sick-sign" up top - and see if anything is wrong.

We got the same Problem with an assembly. But there is no red plus sign. It looks like its completly fine.

Any News on this? It looks like a lot of People have this Problem.

Kind regards

Tobias
