Include iPart surface - Inventor 2014 bug?

I have a small iPart containing a surface to be included in the generated members. This is enabled by using the workaround of including an iMate in the table. On first generation this works fine, but both the iMate and the surface will disappear from the members when regenerated following a rebuild or change of parameter. Sometimes they will appear again after changing the table, but seem to have different identifiers because anything using them has broken references.

Inventor Professional 2014 Update 2.

Using the part with iMate and insert them into another part with several holes, there is no issue after I click update.

I am using Inv2014 Update1.

Have you clicked update or edit the parameters from table edition?

Steps that reproduce the issue for me:

1. Using the default Inventor project. Save the part file somewhere, create a new Standard (mm) assembly and save it in the same folder.

2. Use the place command, select the part file and place a few different member sizes into the assembly. Save the assembly. We now have the following.

3. Use the file open command to open the part file. Apply the rebuild all command and save the part.

4. Switch back to the assembly and perform an update. We now have the following.

I've attached one of the generated member files that has failed.

Installing Service Pack 1 has fixed this issue.

Hmm, well mostly fixed. The geometry remains visible and the iMate results continue to hold after a rebuild. Constraining to the geometry directly fails after a rebuild.
