Importing step and iges files takes forever in 2013 FDS.
I have recently upgraded to 2013 FDS and now when I try to import Acad files (sometimes up to 2000 solids) it takes virtually a full day to import one file. When I had 2011 I could import these files much faster. Does anyone know what gives?
To help clarify, I recently upgraded to 64-bit Win 7 w/ 2013 FDS from WinXP 64-bit 2011. I've got a 6core machine w/ 12G ram. When I used to import similar files it would take about 20 to 30min to load. Now the same files take 20-30hrs to load. It's the same situation w/ .sat, .iges, .stp, and .dxf files.
