Importing INV 2009 CC Library files *.MDF *.LDF into INV2011

All,

I need to import INV2009 custom Content Center Library files *.MDF *.LDF into INV 2011(running Desktop Content) but I could not figure out how to do it, I believe due to the odd scenario that I have as explained below.

I lost the harddrive which INV2009 and ADMS was installed, but I have a backup of the files *.MDF *.LDF of the custom CC libraries and I am trying to reuse it on INV2011.

Things to note,  I do not have ADMS 2009 installed, therefore, is there a way to import the  *.MDF *.LDF files to INV2011 without reinstalling INV2009?

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

Anderson

You will need to install the ADMS 2011 on your system. This will allow you to "Import" libraries from older versions. Right click on the libraries folder from within the R2011 consoles version and choose import. Once brought in to that console, you can use the tool in the project box to convert it to an IDCL file (desktop Content) at that time.

Don,

Thank you very much for the adivice.  my setup (AP program) does not show the ADMS option to install.  do I have to re-install Inventor?

Thanks again
