Imported 3D Wireframe Is Transparent

I looked around the forum and found information on how to import a 3D wireframe from AutoCAD into Inventor.

I did not create the wireframe so I cannot tell you what version was used when it was created.

Although once I import it into Inventor it appears to be transparent.

I'm currently using Inventor 2014.

This is the first time I've attempted this so I have no other files to use as a guide.

I tried changing the properties of the surface but it continues to appear transparent.

So I'm unsure how to get it to a solid looking surface.

I'm attaching some screen captures to show you the settings I used when I brought it in and one showing you how the transparent part looks.

It appears to be a Composite Surface Body - not a wireframe.

Can you attach the file here?

Thank you sir.

So was I using an improper procedure or did I need to take it a step or 2 past where I was?

You could try Sculpt to get a solid from the surface

or

the Construction Environment.

Wondering about the usability of this file I found a picture of the real part:
