Import Acad Sketch

A sketch at 4" created in MDT 6 Sp4 comes in at 1.575" in IV. There seems to
be something metric gong on even though my ipt stnd template is set to
inches.

Anyone know how you control this so sketches come in accurately?
TIA

During the Open dialogue choose Options and Units of File.
The correct one should get your file in ok.
Sounds like this one is set at cm.

Check your input units.

I use sketches from AutoCAD. I start a sketch in IV then use the Insert
AutoCAD file button. With IV6, the lines do not turn "black" to show they
are fully constrained. Is this a known problem? I have had to open the
.dwg of the sketch into an .idw, then copy and paste into the .ipt sketch.
It works but is a MAJOR pain.
