IMates and the Content Center

Ok so I looked all over this message board to find out if I can edit Content Center iParts' IMates.

I added a screw to the Content Center and now I would like to add an IMate to it.

Does anyone know how this is done?

Please, try the following.

  • Open from Content Center.

 OpenCC.png

  • In the open from Content Center dialog, double-click on the family of the screws you have published and insert one of them with the option As Custom.

AsCustom.png

  • Save the file in a location on your machine.
  • When the file is open, add the iMate and save the file.
  • Menu Manage > Content Center > Content Center Editor.
  • In the Library field select your custom library from the drop-down menu.
  • Select the family of the screws you have published, right-click, Replace Family Template.ReplaceFamilyTemplate.png

  • In the following Open dialog, select the file you have saved at step above.

I hope it can be helpful.

Kind regards,

Alessandro
