ilogic keyboard events

Hello everybody,

I was trying to set up some ilogic rules with more or less long taking FOR loops.

Now the classic problem ;-). How to stop it in case I don't want to wait all the time...

I've searched and tried a lot with interaction and keyboard events but I just don't get it to run :-(...

So the task is to exit a FOR loop in an ilogic rule in case lets say the escape key is pressed.

I guess the answer is very basic, but just as I said, I don't get it

I would appreciate any infos.

Thanks a lot

Elmar

iLogic doesn’t provide direct support, but you should be able to add standard Windows (or possibly Inventor API) code to the rule to get keyboard events.

I don’t have any sample code.

There is an enhancement request from others to automatically make rules interruptible, so could be a future enhancement.

Jon.
