iLogic Design Copy does not work

I'm attempting to use iLogic Design Copy.

Everytime I select files to copy, after several minutes updating files, inventor crashes.

I have tried this on several of our Installs. Same result.

I attempted to use Inventor 2015 to see if the problem had been fixed. Still crashes.

Does iLogic Design Copy work? Is there a fix?

I have installed all updates I can find (up to 5) and still no sucess.

Many thanks for you to provide this issue to us! Have you submitted the error report when crash? If not, please submit the error report, and let us know the email address you provided in error report. So that we could dig the info from error report for more investigation. And you could also email me @ river-yijiang.cai@autodesk.com if possible.

Hi! It is possible Microsoft .Net Framework 4.5 was not installed properly on your machine. Could you try uninstall .Net Framework 4.5 (64 and x86) on one machine and then reinstall it from Microsoft.com (the linke below)?

http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30653

It should resolve the issue.

Thanks!

In your model are you using iParts?

Yes. The iAssembly is made up of several iParts and sub assemblies.

Are the iParts in the same directory as the Project File you are using in the iLogic Design Copy utility?   If not and they are at the same level or above your project level this will cause issues in the utility.   Let me know, I have a workflow to correct that issue.

Hi Mark,

Yeah, Files are in the same location as the Project file and I'm using the iLogic Copy Design utility.

Problem is, we have used this functionality several times before.

I was following our SOP and nothing would copy over without a crash.
