IGES and SAT files wont open

I got a file from a vendor so I wouldn't have to model it, and now I can't open it. I have the IGES and SAT files and have also had another engineer in our office to try and open it without any luck.

I looked over alot of other threads trying to find something to work to no avail. I have downloaded the new patches available and that didn't help. I have got the part file to open, but there is no image on screen and not surface feature in the model tree. I am lost at this point.
