.idw view is NOT accurate to part geometry.

I have a part that was created with extensive weight relief pockets on
one face.

When I make an .idw view of these pockets face on, one pocket's
geometry doesn't show up as smooth curves- as it should be in the
.ipt- but rather is depicted by IV6 as line segments. The geometry was
created from splines, btw. I'v tried recreating this view several
times (and it takes a long time to compute), but the result is always
the same.

See the screenshot in customer files under the same subject.

IV6, SP1

5.3 handles this a little better, but I wonder what other geometry
mis-matches has IV rendered that I'm not aware of, and have had parts
built from?

Can you post the part to customer files?

Loren,

Proprietary customer file. For confidentiality reasons, can I send the
file directly to you?

Nevermind- posted a derived body and companion.idw to CF under this
heading.

I logged a defect against it.
