IDW view does not show changes-Bug?

I revised a part in a 30+ part IAM file (made part longer) but the IDW will
not reflect the change in all views for the assembly or parts views.

Some views updated fine related to the change, others do not show any change
& the views of the part itself shows the dimension correct but the length is
very obviously wrong . ( see screen shot example in CF )

I was able to create a new projected view off of the offending view that was
accurate, however.

Is there a setting I am missing or is this a bug?

Tools/Docment Settings/Drawing Defer Updates is unchecked.
I opened & saved all subassemblies (eVen though I shouldn't have to)
I have multiple sheets in IDW file & similar views on sheets sheets are
incorrect.

I have had this same problem. I have gone into IDW files where a part has
been updated, the dimensions will have updated correctly but the object
lines have not. For example I had a part where a hole had been moved and was
dimensioned from part edge to hole center. When looking at the IDW the
dimension was dimensioned from part edge to nothing but was correct; the
hole had not moved. I found that if I went into the assembly rebuilt and
updated then returned to the drawing, the drawing corrected itself.
Note that these were migrated files from 5.3 and before sp1. I have not seen
this since. I had to plot a 200 sheets and check to make sure that the
dimensions went to something then fix those dimensions that seemed
unattached.

A little bit difficult to debug without actually having the files but one
suggestion though:

did you try to select the out-of-date views (with left mouse button) and use
the Update icon ?
This is a yellow lightning icon that gets enabled in the Inventor Standard
toolbar only when at least one view is selected.

I was not aware of it but was looking for it when I was having the problem.
I will try it next time this comes up since I redid all the offending views
due to lack of time (& knowledge).
Thanks Bob!
