IDW Revisions

I was just wondering how everyone deals with print revisions. The way IV
automatically updates the original makes it hard (for me) to keep track of
the previous parts and I just need some advice on what I should do? Thanks

I place only the most recent revision note and tags on the drawing.

Archives are kept as pdf files. If anyone wishes to explore the sordid
past of a part, they can find it there.

Thanks for the advice! I think that sounds like a lot better than what I was
thinking. I thought I read a while back that someone saved copies of the idw
files and made newly revised assemblies, that sounds like too much work!!
The PDF or DWG sounds a whole lot better. Thanks
Jerry

Why not try to activate "Defer Update" on the .idw when it is released. Next
revision you make by making a copy of the original and take off "Defer
Update". Repeat this for each revision and you have a complete set of
revisions.

Print to PDF as a back-up is also a good idea.
