IDW Problem, weird silhuoette generations on projected views

I model a handle for a home appliance product. When it's time to produce the IDW, it happenned, Top view was OK, but when I created the projected views and section view, the arc shows almost as straight line (although it's a spline when I click it), when I change the view using "edit view" and select "shaded" the look was OK. But when I return it to "Hidden Edges On" mode it screwed up again. Already try to change the Display mode in "Application Options" (Rough, medium, smooth), even try using different setting on "Hardware" tab (recommended setting, Full Optimization, etc.) still nothing. My machine is Intel P 1,7GHz, Oxygen VX1, 750 MB RAM. Any help would be greatly appreciated. It's a shame to give our supplier a LOW QUALITY drawing.

If it's what I'm thinking of, 5.3 has a problem with spline silhouette
projections showing as roughly faceted polyline looking curves. I don't think
there's anything you can do other than export the drawing and clean it up in
Acad, etc. It's much improved in IV6, fwiw. You might check a print to make
sure it's not something else graphics related.

I did tried to print it, in fact that was when I found out the problem. I thought it was a trick of IV to reduce hardware resourcing. But I guess I was wrong. Thanks for the input Jeff, are you working with IV6 now? I just wanna make sure it doesn't happen on it too.

I'm using 6 and the facet problem was rectified in it (actually one of the
SP's, I think). There is still a problem with silhouette splines being
generated as hidden lines, but this is mostly apparent with curvy imported
parts.
