IDW Line properties

Hi,

Two problems in idw's:

Firstly, I am having trouble woth the line properties in Inventor 2012.

i have manually made some of the lines in my drawing grey (as they are background info on what i am actually showing).

but some of the lines keep displaying black everytime i re-open the file.

Secondly, i also manually turn off some of the hidden detail in some views as only some of it is relevant.  everytime i re-open the drawing some of the "turned off" hiddend detail lines reappear and have to be made invisible again.

are there solutions to the problems.
