IDW from IPN: My library parts pain

I make a IDW from an IPN (300+ parts assy.). Now I need to tweak some more
parts in the IPN, previously invisible.
I change the visibility of these parts in the IPN, do my tweaks, save and
open the relevant IDW: The drawing is only updated with the new trails. OK,
I say to myself, I just need to turn the visibility ON for the relevant
parts in the IDW. Now comes the tricky bit: In the model browser, the
library parts in the IDW are listed under different names and are invisible.
Example: an M5 washer - "ISO 7089 5-140HV:4" in the IPN becomes
"local.ISO.62.70.1.ipt" in the IDW and all instances of this have the same
name and are not numbered in the IDW. Kind of needle in the haystack.

Using the halving method, I have managed to eventually identify the parts,
but surely, there must be a better way. I just could not afford to spend
anything up to half an hour just to identify and turn visible half a dozen
screws and washers.

Does anyone know a better way?

Use the part filter and pick the parts to hide on screen.

Unfortunately, he wants to UNHIDE parts.

Spot on, Dave.

I guess the ability to unhide parts should be implemented somehow, if the
IDWs are not meant to update from IPNs, otherwise this Hide-Unhide process
is one way. Without it, there is a lot of work creating a new IPN for each
stage of an assembly sequence (forgot to mention that I'm creating IDWs from
IPNs to document an assembly sequence for our production, in a Step-by-Step
style).

Another one for the Wish-List, then. Hope the guys from AutoDesk are
listening.

Regards,
Danny
