.IAM Question: Turn off visibility but still shows visible in browser

So in this .iam I needed to turn off several of the parts (frame generator) by RMB the browser.  They turned off in the model but still appear to be visible (not greyed out) in the browser.  When I want them to be visible again, I can't locate the parts without going through each one individually.  Any idea why this is happening?  Also, next to the sketch SK:1 there is a symbol.  What does this mean?

I've had that happen before (don't use FG.. but with regular parts/iam files)..

Are you up to date on service packs/hotfixes/updates?

That symbol means the surface is grounded.  You can RC on it and unground it if you want.

Just curious, why are you needing to change the visibility of your FG parts?  I personally don't recommend NOT using FG, but rather wonder if you can use different sketches within your assembly that could give you these results.  I would have to know your design intent in order help you down that path.

OK.  Thanks.  Sometimes I need to see past an existing part so I temporarily turn it off.  I use FG on almost every drawing.  Nothing else has even come close to making it easy to create my assemblies.  We make fully framed shower enclosures so I have custom shapes in my cc and just insert them into the sketch.  This method has made it pretty easy for me.  This way when you need to change the dimensions of the unit (which happens all the time) the parts follow the change.  Is there something else you would suggest?  I'm always open to suggestions.

Oops, actually I meant what the orange folded symbol meant besides the sketch.

That symbol means the file has no physical volume. It's supposed to look like a surface.

Does the behavior occur if you create a view rep before toggling the visibility?
