I want thinner lines, but how?

I want to print out an existing drawing with thinner lines.

I have tried to change the line weight in Format - Standards.

But the line thickness does not change when printing out.

I can point at the line and right click, properties, there it says 0,18 but
it prints 0,50

I cant remember what do last time I did this.........

'been trying to figure that out for 2 years now. Anything to do with line

Format   > Standards

the thinnest line as default is .007

if you want it thinner,  in the "Line
Weight  Value" box type in .002 and enter. Now you will be able to select

.002 in the pull down box for you visible edges,
hidden edges and so on.

I have tried that, as I wrote in my
messages.

But when I print out, the
line is still 0.50. And I want it to print out 0.18

I have done this before, but I cant remember
what I then do.

I  had the same trouble then in the start,
but I did it last time, but what did I do????

Hmmm.... maybe I am getting
old........

Do I have to make a new DIN - ISO standard
??

I think I know what you mean.

Make sure you are in the same standard that it was
created in.

In the IDW that I was playing around in, if go into
another standard like din or bsi and make the

changes, the lines don't change but like you said
if you right click on the line it says it is thinner but it isn't.

So if you are in the right standard it should
work.

Open up a drawing. From the menu choose "Format" then

"Dimension Styles" then select the "Display" tab. Set your
line thickness here. Don't ask me why but it works!
