I don't understand why I can't use the spur gear generator

From what I read, it appears that portion of the program is not installed.  Can I download it from Autodesk.com?  I am working on a 3D model of a steamship that has dual paddle wheels.  They need to be able to turn in opposite directions.  I'd like to use the Inventor program to design them.

Hi Vis,

 

the Spur Gear generator is available only in an assembly file.

 

You will find it  the Design Tab > Power Transmission
