I don't suppose

Just did a dumb move. I made a iFeature punch. Placed it on a test part, and all looked
fine, so I just deleted the source. (I usually save them but for some reason didn't this
time) Well when I had tested it I was zoomed in to close to see it was bringing with it
a projected line.

I guess I could just ignore the line, it doesn't hurt anything, but it will probably
always bug me. I tried opening the IDE but I didn't see any way to get rid of it.

Don't suppose anyone has any tricks to fix something like that other than do it over?

Wish I did know a way to do that ... I've tried to modify iFeatures without
the original ipt, but couldn't figure a way either.

You can open the IDE file, and use the tools in the panel bar to add/reomove
parameters and geometry.:

But that will only add/remove attributes - you can't change the basic definition. Case in point, I pulled the i-features that Sean has zipped on his site for NPT, NPTF, and SAE ports - all fine and dandy (kudos to Mr. Dotson). However, I would have prefered to have the inital ipt included as his spot faces on some i-features are set to .012 and our company std is .030 deep. I can't change this on his i-feature, I could only do it within the original ipt and redefine the i-feature. This is the main reason we now keep the original ipt next to the i-features we make in house - just in case you decide later to change a basic parameter or make it editable.

Kent, I feel your pain, repeatedly.

Anyone needs the ipt files for the Sun cavities,
NPT and SAE iFeatures Charles posted on his site, just email me and I will send
them to you.

Seems to me I had the same issue with one I created and one I downloaded
from Charles' site. I just went into the sketch the iFeature was placed in
and deleted the offending entity, redefined the iFeature and it was gone
from future inserts. I know I didn't have the ipt they were originally
created from.

To late, I already rebuilt it and overwrote the bad one. I will have to play with that
though. I never would have suspected that you could do that.

No guarantees Kent, I'm scrambling around trying to gather enough gray cells
mixed in with the gray hair to remember what I did to an iFeature 7-8 months
ago.

My apologies to both Sean and Charles. And yes, please send me the ipts if/when you get a chance. Thanks.
