I created a spring and now need to located it.

Good Morning all,
I created a compression spring ipt. now I am trying to located it in my iam. (non adaptive) With no flat usable surfaces it seems rather difficult to locate. It is suppose to rest around a shaft between a spring pin and a sheetmetal part. The spring pin is supposed thru a shaft. That is a bugger to locate to as well. Do I just place it close and ground it.? This does not seem correct. Any ideas? Same question for the spring pin.

Use the Origin planes and axes to constrain it.

For the spring turn on the axis that you used to
revolve around and mate with this axis.  For the ends you'll need to turn
on or add some workplanes.

Thanks I'll give that a try.
I had tried to use the axis but was unsuccessful. I thought I was going about it incorrectly so I stopped. I sill chase that down now I know I wasn't barking up the wrong tree.
Thanks again
