I can't rotate my iFeatures

I'm having a problem when I place iFeatures that I have created into a new part. The iFeature I created has some dependent features within it (It's basically a counterbored hole from the top side, then a circular pattern of counterbored holes from the underside. So the holes on the underside are automatically included in the iFeature when I select the top hole). Anyway, when I try to place a dependet set of iFeatures like this, I can't specify any rotation. For instance, in the position tab I select the top surface, then input an angle (say 90 degrees), then select the bottom surface, hit finish, and the iFeature places itself at 0 degrees every time. Anybody have any ideas?

Put a copy of the source (ipt) in CF so we can look at it. It is quite
likely there is a way of doing it. Creating iFeatures that do what you
want is a bit of an art form.

I put an ipt file of a block with the features I want to use in the CF.

Jay, I posted a new part on CF. Try the ide file and tell me if it gives you the results your looking for. Jeff Thompson

Thanks, I think that works. It looks like you have to have the sketch features on the second plane reference sketch features on the first sketch plane. In other words, you can only rotate the first sketch plane. Anyway, it works, thanks.
