How to update frame "horizontal offset" with iLogic

Hello,

If I set some variable to adjust "horizontal offset" in frame generator for frame members, the frame is not following this variable change even after "ThisDoc.Document.Rebuild()" or "InventorVb.DocumentUpdate()".

What should I do to update frame member position?

I have struggled with this too - so if anyone has the answer I'd be keen to hear.

The problem is not that your iLogic is failing - this doesn't even work if you do it manually.  (i.e create an "offset" numeric parameter, then use it when placing frame members.  Subsequent changes to the offset parameter do not update the model.  You have to edit each frame member - then hit OK without changing anything - before it updates.)

The only workaround I have found to be able to 'dynamically' drive a frame generator model using parameters is to drive the skeleton with parameters.

Sorry I can't be more help!

Peter
