How to turn over an inserted sketch

I made an assembly, placed a part and a sketch and constrained it, the first assembly file.

I want to turn it over, like in the second assembly.

The mate\mate and mate\flush options in the constrain dialog box yield the same result, unlike in the tutorial:

1. add the mate between part sketch workplane and face (not line, a line has no front/back)

2. do this before the axis mate.
