How to swap controls for orbit/pan view

Hi,

I'd like to swap the controls in inventor so scrollwheel is aerial/orbital view and shift+scrollwheel is panning.
(yes just like sketchup, but i think this works the fastest and the easiest..)

Can someone tell me how to achieve this?

Thanks for the help

Why would it be easiest or fastest? Just a curiosity

Just my personal experience, and i'm used to have it that way. By the way, since scrollwheel zooming is a little jumpy, i'd like to change the F3 control to a more convienient one as well. Isn't there something like a 'Controls' section in the options? hm I should actually add this to my post..

Nope.. Its just how Autodesk does it..

and zooming (roll wheel) can be changed in the mouse settings in Windows control panel..

If you really want to save time get a 3d controller like a space navigator, space pilot,etc...

SOOO much better. I can't live without one now.

Ah that's a pity.. I can't see why the user isn't allowed the freedom of choosing his own control settings. I'm not a professional, i'm a student so it isn't cost effective for me to buy such a mouse. But thanks for the suggestion.
