How to spam the "ctrl" key?

Something similar to an enhancement im looking for the future. I would like to have an option to be able to select multiple bodies or surfaces without holding the ctrl key. just like in autocad. Is there a "Hack" that we can do to make this work?

Hi m.teleguz1,

Believe it or not, AutoCAD has never met Inventor, and Inventor has never met AutoCAD. They are two different applications that exist in different worlds and are maintained by different developers. Occasionally the AutoCAD developers and Inventor developers might meet, maybe at a sci-fi convention, or in the drunk tank after a soccer game, but in those cases they're not really comparing code.

The point is, it is we the user who try to make Inventor work like AutoCAD or AutoCAD work like Inventor. When we learn to accept these applications as independent, then we can stop torturing ourselves with the expectation that one will work just like the other. Smiley Wink

I hope this helps.
Best of luck to you in all of your Inventor pursuits,
Curtis
