How to project image in sketch

I'm wanting to emboss a logo onto a part. Is it possible to project the logo outline? Or is there a better way of getting the logo into inventor? The logo file is a .jpg file.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi

Maybe i've misunderstood but you can use decal feature. It's in 3D model tab, Create.

That might be able to work for me. I was really trying to get a sketch of the logo so I could extrude, emboss, etc. I want it to show up on drawings as well.

Hi

If I apply decal on face I can see it in the drawing if the view style is set to shaded, if your logo should be visible on hidden line style, the only way is to sketch your logo manually and doing an emboss

Thank you for your help. I'm wanting it to be visible in unshaded views, so I'll have to sketch the logo like you said.
