How to permanently change "NPT" hole note to "NPTF"
If you change the Custom Thread Designation value for the NPT thread family
in Thread.xls file all new new NPT holes should pick up the modified value.

I'd think a better long term solution would be to edit the threads.xls file to add a whole new group so you have both NPT and NPTF callouts available. Unless you ONLY use NPTF and will never use NPT.
