how to make sporing lenght adaptiv?

Hi,

like in topic:

How can I make spring lenght adaptiv?

The issu is when I place compresion spring created with designe accelerator I can specify it's model length. In my model spring is pressing on part that is free to move. I constrained this part with constrain (MAX MIN) to allo it to be positioned in allowed distance. I would like then this sprong to be adaptive in length to be constantly in contact with moving part.

Can this be done?

Regards,

Cris

Please see this document explaining how to achieve this:

OK this explains how to make simple adaptive part with coil.

So it looks like spring and adapts.

But I would rather like to make spring created with designe accelerator adaptive.

As I explored how spring is build in part created by designe accelerator model length is not easy to find parameter.

Also it is not possible to activate "adaptive" property of this part.

Of course creating another part instead of this created with designe accelerator is some solution but schould rather be unnecessary.

Cris
