How to get a cut edge sketch in Inventor 2010?

How to get a cutting edge profile as sketch? i.e. a workplane intersects with a solid body (sphere, corn ect.), how to generate this intersecting curve by inventor commands?
I got it by using split face and project geometry, but I don't like splitting faces. Any other way I can do this?

Thanks.

Ummm, Project Cut Edge (drop down under Project Geometry) for 2D sketch.

For 3D sketch Intersection Curve or Silhouette Curve.
