How to find part which is inside another part or assembly?

Hello there,

If I want to find part which is inside another part or assembly, which means no matter how I turn camera, I always cannot see that part.

Does inventor has this function? Or is it possible to develope by .NET API?

Thanks!

HI!

You can do lots of things to see the part...

You can:

change the visual stile to wireframe,

view and/or supression representations,

isolate the parts you need to see,

give a semi-transparent color to the sorrounding parts (any color starting with "Clear" is an semi_transparent color, ex: "clear blue")...

Hope it help you, Bye...

Thank you for your reply!

In fact, I need a list of these parts which are cannot been seen.

I want to do some actions to these parts.

I want to write a addin that can get a list of these kinds of parts.

List will show the name of part.

Thank you.

Have you tried the selection tools?  Select the component, then RMB click to select internal components, hope it's helpful.
