how to find part name/number in browser bar

 Hi,

 

I have one doubt i have one big assembly in that more than thousand parts.

 

my doubt is how to find particular part in browser bar.

 

like how to search particular part number in browser bar.

You should be able to RMB on the part in the window and use "Find in browser" on the shortcut list.

If the part is deep in a sub-assembly you can set your selection filter on the quick access toolbar to select parts instead of components, then RMB on part, and find in browser will take you straight to it.

You can also use the BOM editor to highlight the part in the window if you don't know where it is.

 

Other than that you can use the find option to search, which is more or less the same as using the BOM editor but takes longer.

You could get the "Find" functionality on the top of Browser panel to get the right component using various properties, please see the attached image.
