Using the BOM function within the Assembly would be the easiest I would think. You can add and remove columns and it does give a picture/thumbnail as well.

You can also export the BOM to Excel from within the BOM or use 3rd party products such as BOMexTractor from: www.cbliss.com/icode

Inventor 2020, In-Cad, Simulation Mechanical

Just insert the picture rather than attaching it as a file

Hi,

You see, the projets I am working very particulair,

The Bom is'nt valid.

See, for example in Hardware.PNG I attached,

the names given are NONE_1 and NONE_2 !

And I have no idea what are the real names.

So I was wondering if maybe there was a site or programe,

That would show thumbnails of all Hareware possible,

so we could find out Easely, or would be the best way,

to find  the real names so it could be be purchased...

Thanks,

Sophie

They come Catia, opened from a step file.

So no information is given, we have to find out for the hardware.

You will need to populate the iProperties with the information you need, imported parts from other systems will not have the correct information.
