How to export a body from a multi-body part?

It says in the help that i can export a solid from a multi body part to an other part file. how?

The help doesn't explain that, or that i haven't found it

Thanks

I used the Make Part command, but the new ipt file shows nothing in the graphics window.

Attach original file and resulting derived file here.

You must select exactly what solid bodies, surface bodies, sketches or work geometry or parameters you want to Derive...

Hi! It should work like JD and Ray mentioned here. Is the "body" actually mesh? Inventor cannot derive mesh geometry. Please share the files here so forum experts can take a look.

Many thanks!
