How to expand ribbon icons?

I just upgraded from 2012 to 2014 Professional, and on my ribbon all of the tools appear to have been grouped/minimized, making it a pain just to click on even the most commonly-used tools.

For example, when I am in the Sketch tab, all of the tools are grouped and hidden under a cateogry, such as the "Draw" category, and I need to first click on Draw to be able to select a Line or Rect or whatnot.

How can I expand these out so that all tools are displayed for a given tab?

See the white Arrow beside the rest of the tabs (beside Sketch in your screenshot).

Click the arrow and it Cycles through 4 view options:

Full >Images (what you're Currently on) > Text > Hidden (you have to click on it to see the ribbon)

In your case you should need 3 clicks, (move to text, hidden and back to full)

I hope this helps,

James

Thank you! Finally found the solution. :))

This is the most counter-intuitive and stupid so far.
