how to dimension to extension/center lines

Hello Inventor Users,

How do I dimension to an extension or center line within an Inventor Drawing (.idw)? Below image, I've highlighted the dimension I'm trying to create.

Discusses how to add dimensions to intersections of extension lines, but I'm trying to reference a centerline or center mark

Add dimensions in isometric drawing views, talks about using the spacebar to toggle between inferred annotation planes, but doesn't work if I'm retrieving model dimensions.

thanks for the help,

Create a sketch on that drawing view, project edges as needed to anchor your sketch geometry, and manually create the lines you're looking for. If there's extra stuff left over in the end that you needed for constraints or something, set it to SKETCH ONLY, and keep only what you need visible. At the end, once you've finished your sketch, change the properties to match the properties that you're using for your automatically created centerlines in other places.
