You can do this with standard Inventor, but if you have Inventor Tooling or Inventor Professional it is even easier. What version of Inventor are you running?
Can you attach the ipt here?

Thank you for the web page and information mcgyvr I will try to follow the web site's instructions and maby I will get my project to work.
I'm trying to do the same thing, and it doesn't seem like there's an answer hear. Can anyone please tell me how to make a mold of a part. I need to 3D print a case to hold a tablet onto a robot. Here is the CAD I made of the tablet, but I need to make the mold of this so I can design a fastening method for it.
Thank you!
What problem are you having making the mold?
It looks to me like you are missing draft on the part.
Are you familiar with making derived components?
Multi-body solids?
or
do you have Inventor Professional?
Is something like attached what you are after?
And did you read the PDF I posted above showing exactly how to use derive to create a mold?
is it possible in some way, to do it the other way around, meaning that you have the mold and need to extract the bottle?
Yes, use Derive Components and Sculpt.
or
Multi-body solids and Extrude or Sculpt.
Attach your file here if you can't figure it out.
I need to make a mold from this tray, and then make the exact same tray but this time from the mold, is this possible, and how do i do that?

I don't see a file attachment.
Do you see a file attachment?
Open the part.
Find the red End of Part marker.
Drag the red EOP marker to the top of the browser hiding all features.
Save the file with the red EOP marker in this rolled up state.
Attach your *.ipt file here.
Do you have Inventor Professional?
You should install all Service Packs and Updates for 2015.
What is the material and manufacturing process?
The part is not uniform thickness and has some draft issues.
Why do you need to make the same part from the mold - you already have the part.
It is (easily) certainly doable, but why?
If you have Inventor Professional - here is the easiest way.
Turn on your sound....
I recommend that you install all Service Packs for your version of Inventor.
Fully define you sketches.
How would internal void be molded? (What type of mold will this be? A rotational mold?)
Fillet corner before shell.
Modify zero thickness corner.
Include face draft for release from the mold.
Also: This thread has been marked as solved - you should have started a new thread and link back to this one for reference. And be sure to state what version of Inventor you are using.
