How to create custom iProperties

I need to create a bunch of custom iProperties that will pop up upon opening a new .ipt but I can't figure it out from the help. Can someone please walk me through these steps? I would also like some of these iProperties to be pulled into the drawing, but that's not my immediate need.

Thanks for any help.

Iproperties don't "pop up" upon creating a new .ipt. To access
Right-click the file name in the Autodesk Inventor or Design Assistant
browser and select iProperties.

To create Custom iprops. go to the "Custom" tab.

You may want to try iPropWiz that Sean Dotson created.

I think this would be much better. You can add pulldowns for the iProps so users can choose from a list. This helps consistency. You can add many Custom iProps to the list, and the Wizard will only add the ones you actually use. This saves on having extra iProps that are not needed for every file.
